Welcome back Helen! Looks like you had amazing trip despite being under the weather in the end. I am enjoying the photos and looking forward to the following ones.
Hi jenjen - Japan was fantastic, as always. I am busy working on the photos. Argh! So many. Keep your eyes peeled :)
Hi Florizal - Best of Sydney? Argh! Sometimes I like to take visitors to another world like Cabramatta, Bankstown, Lakemba or Campsie. Otherwise a trip to the Fish Markets gives you a visit to the "aquarium" AND a tasty feed after as well :)
I always do a DIY picnic of oysters, Crystal Bay prawns, a small box of best salmon and tuna sashimi (don't forget the seaweed salad!) and a serve of beer battered fish and chips to finish. I had a friend who loved lobster - I just got one of the friendly fishmongers to saw one in half and we ate it with a squeeze of lemon. Why buy it from the lunch counters when you can get it half price from the source :)
Hi Jennifer - The capsule hotel was fun. You must try it if you ever get the chance!
Hi, I just surfed on in. Do those hotel cubes stink? The thought of all the previous feet that have been sweating in there has me asking. Happy Trails.
Hi Hi baldockbaldrick - Yep, those are my feet. It'd be a big struggle to fit two people into a capsule :)
Hi Rory - Not at all. Japan was always very clean. You could wonder about hotel rooms if you follow that line of thought. And what about train seats? lol

ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fab time in Japan :)
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you - if you had a friend visiting and wanted to impress them with the best of Sydney, where would you take them for brunch?
Hope you can give me some ideas!
cheers Belinda :)
omigod I always wanted to sleep in one of those hotel cubes!
