Errrr...this comment has nothing to do with your Japan trip though your pictures as always, are wonderful and the writing beautiful. Just wanted to let you know someone posted Bill Granger demonstrating his famous scrambled eggs and ricotta pancakes on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIRAALuB3co&mode=related&search=). in case you might be interested to watch if you hadn't already.
I just love the colours! They're so beautiful! I'm thinking about taking a year of next year and I'm dreaming about a trip to Australia. After all your wonderful posts, I have so many places to go and so much food to try out ;D
Just wanted to thank you for the gorgeous pictures and words! I lived in Japan last year and miss the food so much, especially good sushi and yummy obento. Especially loved your matsuri pics- i went to a few over there and always overindulged on choc-covered bananas, giant gyoza and yakisoba!

ReplyDeleteHi Susanna Lee - Thanks for the link. It was interesting to see the eggs in action, even if the preface was a little cheesy :)
ReplyDeleteHi Vintage Wine - The colours are fantastic aren't they? And yes, do come to Australia... and make a stop-off in Japan as well!
Hi Onaka Suita - Living in Japan would be fascinating. Glad you enjoyed the little trip down memory lane!
