i think my uncle serving me 'love letters' during chinese new year visiting sparked off the craving for flaky, biscuitty, eggy.
Wow!! Seem like Sydney was equally merry with CNY celebration huh. Hey, I love the pics of the kids. They are adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteHey... Im new to your blog and really love it. Especially all the reviews!
ReplyDeleteThose dragon boaters have such glorious looking arms! ;)
Hi AG,
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures. They are wonderful. I sent you an e-mail earlier, I hope you got it. It was a late response to one of the e-mails you sent me earlier. Sorry! =(
By the way, I've never seen anyone roll spring rolls like that before. Looks cool. When I was in Singapore, I got to witness a lady making poh piah, which was equally fun! And best of all, I got to eat the finished product! =P
If you've never had "love letters" they are a Nonya crispy cookie (?) that's rolled. It's very thin and light. In Wena's post here, it's the second picture from the top.

I could probably eat a hundred of them at one sitting (but I didn't)! =)
hiya AG
ReplyDeleteThe egg rolls machine looks cool! I have never actually seen egg rolls in making. Now I am craving for kuih sapit (love letters)! It's another CNY delicacy in South East Asia!
