  6. I'd take Kanye West because by the time he finishes what he's saying about his dessert being better, I'd have eaten both mine and his.

  7. I would take my boyfriend as he always put up with my tantrums and hissy fits, especially in the last week. I've been extremely pissed off at work because I've been working unpaid for 6 weeks now and they were going to make me wait another 2 weeks for it! ARGH!!! So this would be a very sweet way to thank him for putting up with me :P

  8. I would invite Julia and Tony, then leave them to bicker over who would be the better dessert companion and explain why the other would be the worst. I would 'move forward' to the sweets and booze while Kevin sulks at home for not having been invited.

  11. I'd take my amazing OH. We have shared so many wonderful meals and food related experiences over our 16 years together so far and this would be another one. There is nothing more wonderful to me that looking over the table and seeing him enjoying himself....

  12. Ooo, I would take Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I've been looking for an excuse to somehow make him aware of my existance...

Although it would sadly prove that I am dreaming after all...

  13. I would take my sweet toothed sister, Alisa. Among other things she is an avid baker, forever producing professional grade cakes for many appreciative and food lovin' family and friends. It'd be lovely to return the favour and treat her to a wonderfully sweet and oh so delicous feast of sugary sinfulness at tomislav in return. We haven't been to catch up as much since I moved out of home, so it'd be splendid to share this delightful opportunity with her!

  14. Recently, a close friend's dad came out of hospital after being treated for bowel cancer. Their whole family is now following a strict and healthy diet at home (no dessert-type foods whatsoever). If I were to win, I would definitely take her with me to inject some sugar into her life!

  18. Ooh, definitely my boyfriend when we come to Sydney to live it up for my 30th birthday in January next year.
He's not much of a dessert person, so that means twice as much for me!

  19. My friend who is on a diet because it would mean more food for me. She is content with water.

  20. Easy, and politically incorrect - I'd take Ghandi.

  21. I would take Mr. Tomislav and charm him with his own sweet delights! He'll be so enamoured that another dessert date for two will be guaranteed, and I'll score another fine night of wining & dining.

  22. My sister Sare for her 40th * we grew up on a diet of bubble gum and vanilla paddle pops...hopefully our tastes have matured!

  23. I'd take my husband because he is so supportive of me, and deserves a sweet treat :)

  24. I'd take my friend who claims that her dessert stomach is shrinking. Heresy! Tomislav's brilliant creations are sure to fix that!

  25. I would bring my partner. He has been very sweet, loving and caring for the last 9 years we are together.

He worked very hard day and night, through many odd jobs for our happiness. He loves and appreciates sweets/desserts and I love him.

  26. I would take my partner. because if he found out I won this and didn't invite him, he'd probably cry - desserts and wine are his favourite things after scuba diving :)

  27. I would take my wonderful new friend, La Fanciula, because she is so food savvy amd knows heaps of stuff about tucker that is new to me - our evolving friendship has taught me lots of things about Eastern European cooking and food; because her migrant mother baked and home farmed, reminding me of Tomislav Martinovic's comment about his baking mother, and I am in awe of women who bake; because I live 200 m from this restaurant, I walk past it all the time, and have been lookign for a good reason to go with her; because she would enjoy it with me ...

  28. I will take my friend whom I have known since kindergarten! She is an amazing person, sister and listener. This will be a way to repay all those late night phone calls and shoulder to cry on :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. I would take my boyfriend! He lives interstate and I don't get to see him very often. These desserts sound like a tasty and romantic way to spend time with a loved one! Especially when they say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomache :P

  30. I would take my uni friend who isn't a foodie but loves desserts. She's trying to lose weight to fit into a dress for a wedding but I think she needs a well deserved break.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'll definitely take my mum there since she loves desserts and my dad only likes chinese food!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I will take my cousin, who, a couple of days ago just gave birth to a bouncing 4.39kg, 55cm long baby boy. It was a completely natural birth devoid of gas or drugs. My hats off to her for giving the family the gift of life.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'd take the Cookie Monster. I'm curious to see what he'd order if/when there aren't any cookies on the dessert menu.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I would love to take Yoram Ottolenghi with me. He's a highly intelligent man (with a PhD) in sociology as well as being a superb cook. I'm sure that it would be a most enlightening and enjoyable evening.

  35. I will take my sister without a doubt. She has one of the biggest sweet tooth (the fact she received 2kg of chocolates from her friends for her bday says something!) she is also one of my biggest supporter when it comes to my little dessert experiments. Whether it's tofu Swiss roll or edamme soy chiffon cake, she would always be the first one to try (a little sceptical at first of course haha). Though it usually concludes with 'this is one of the few weird things you made that actually doesn't taste gross', I can definitely few the love there :) so this dessert opportunity would be the perfect chance for me to say thank you to her (for being my guinea pig throughout all these years) and treat her to some more 'normal' and definitely tastier dessert!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'll take a friend of mine whose birthday coming up soon, save me money on the dessert ;)

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'd take my partner because dessert tastes sweeter when I'm dining with him.
