  2. I would use it to mix up food for my baby son. My existing mixer is on the out as I have used it so much - I like to make up little culinary masterpieces for my son's tastebuds! Training him early so he can accompany us in eating a wide variety of healthy foods and travelling as he grows up . .

  3. Oh dear! I would use it for EVERYTHING. Soups, sauces, humus, baba ganoush, any kind of dip, mousse, pudding, I once saw a demonstration where a man made whipped cream in about 30 seconds with one of these. I want to do that too!!!

  4. i would use it to arouse my wife

  6. (I don't know how any comment can stand up to Robert's!)

Since buying a couple Jamie Oliver books my hands are filthy with recipes for blended soups (so foreign to me!).
My buddy's and my blender may become battle weary from use this summer for icy beverages; and apparently the blender doesn't take well to hot molten soup liquids. (Blender, if you're reading this, I'm sorry!)

I would like to have that beautiful disco stick to blend up desserts and delicious soups, best of all being my bud's mum's Pumpkin Soup - which is THE BEST ever. (gotta love malaysian mums!)

In fact - if I win this Braun Multiquick thingy - I will gladly share the firstfruits of pumpkin soup as an offering. Just send your mailing address teehee.

    :D

  7. I would use the blender to make all the stuff I can't make atm since I don't have a blender! Relishes, pastes and of course got to try to make my own hummus...love hummus!!!

    ReplyDelete
  8. I would make pate'! Chicken liver pate is so delicious and so quick to make, you just have to saute the liver with butter and brandy, season it then put it in the mixer with some thyme.
    Yum.

  9. My old and faithful Braun that I bought 7 years ago is dying a slow death. I can't imagine life without it. Please let me win this and I can brag about this and it will be my faithful companion in the kitchen. Making pesto in summer, sauces in winter. I love Braun!

I have wanted one of these forever! They are so great for blitzing all sorts of ingredients, and are a wonderful time saver when cooking and baking. I can't believe that this one is a cordless, either! That's awesome. :)

  11. my old one has broken i am missing it dearly.

i use mine for spice pastes. says so much time. and nice size to just whip up a small amount for one serve. now if i do it, it is a big batch and is stored.

    Cauliflower soups and pumpkin sauces,
pork and eggplant patties and hot spice mixes,
    watermelon margaritas and mango daiquiris,
for friends, family and assorted orphans,
my supermarket blender couldn't take the strain so the parties had to end.
Maybe grab your fork and braun
will have me reliably blending again.

  14. I would give it to my mummy :D

It will be a perfect gift to her and if shes happy, it means my tummy and the rest of the family would be happy too haha

It will save her lots of time making the nuts and chocolate into small pieces to be thrown into the cup cakes she makes! hmmmm nom nom nom

And I will make sure she dont put her fingers in like one of the contestant in masterchef! :(

    ReplyDelete
  15. I would use it to make quick and easy eats in the ad break of my favourite foodie show.

    ReplyDelete
  16. There once was a blender named Braun Multiquick,
From swirling liquid he got his kick,
He would chop, puree, mash, and mix,
All just to get me my smoothie fix!
    Smoothies, Soups, Pina Coladas Galore
Oh please pick me and I'll be happy evermore!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'd use a hand blender far too often and for too many things to describe here, but I would use it most often to make Delia's black bean soup and Nigella's pasta with meatballs!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Since it is awesomely "cordless", i could be blending just about anything anywhere...

On a good day one could be blending... a lovely wild berry smoothy in the car to cool the angst whilst stuck in traffic; ...or whipping up some oh so fresh mayoinassise on the way back from the grocery - in the passenger seat of cours...e *shhh don't tell anyone*; ...or in the luxury of your comfy couch and in front of the tele, you could be simultaneously entranced with whipping up a cake storm (not to say there won't be flour flying everywhere, but who cares when you could be cooking in your couch); ... the list goes on...

It would be the perfect medium for super efficiency!!! Let's hope one doesn't get an RSI (repetitive strain injury) from overusage.... =P

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'd definitely be using it this summer to make gazpacho!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think Robert hits the spot=) I'll use it in every way possible!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  26. I would use the cordless braun for EVERYTHING!
my old one has just died and I only just realised how much I really used it!

    ReplyDelete
  28. This is what I have been wanting but too poor to buy it for myself. I would definately use it to blend my special tofu seafood combination and special fillings for my chinese dumplings. I have been chopping al the ingrediants finely by hand. Would be great to get the extra hand.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'd use my cordless braun on the kitchen benches that have no electrical plus nearby. It means I can spread out all my ingredients and bowls rather than be stuck in the corner of my little kitchen.
I'd make smoothies with bananas and cocoa for summer. And whip up a homemade hummus to serve my friends. And cauliflower puree and white bean puree as a bed for my roasted lamb backstrap.

    ReplyDelete
  30. From whipping up Chilli Bean Soups in the Arctic alps.
To sipping on my favourite Coconut Pineapple Fruit Smash in the Sahara Desert.
Put to the test Braun Multiquick Cordless would be a winner in my life.

  31. Amanda Elizabeth10/31/2010 1:49 pm

I would certainly use it when I'm not drunk next time. A few years ago I was using a dodgy competitiors similar appliance when I was tipsy and clean chopped off the tip of my finger- I can take a photo of the resultant scar to prove it, very ouch!

    ReplyDelete
  32. will def use in to make some yummy desserts, i have my eyes on a strawberry and coconut mousse cake... puree-ing strawberries...

    ReplyDelete
  33. Who needs a Barman when you have a Braunman?
    Summer cocktails here we come!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ally's Shakes, so named coz no one else would want to share it with me! I'll blitz up soy milk, honey, frozen bananas, and last but not least, Crunchy Peanut Butter! It's breakfast...in a cup

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'd use it extremely well to make vegetable soup as I reckon it would process the onion, parsnip, carrot and peas that I'm
going to put in the soup much better than anything else would. It'd be a
dream come true to be able to do this without even raising a sweat..

    ReplyDelete
  36. I would use it for winter soups... that way I won't give myself third degree burns and spray the soup all over the kitchen by using my very old and dodgy Magic Bullet!

    ReplyDelete
  37. It would sure cover a lot of mileage in more ways than one on our yearly caravaning holidays. Pancakes, smoothies, purees, whipping up a cake or two and the cream on top. How cool a life will the Braun cordless have. A Braun bin travellin.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I make possibly the lumpiest custard ever, and this blender would help me to serve up smooth delicious custard on the Christmas pud this year without resorting to cartons!

    ReplyDelete
  39. to help me finally make a gravy that was smooth and well combined, not like the lumpy pile of barely mixed powder i usually plate up

    ReplyDelete
  40. I would use this Braun Multiquick Cordless hand blender with a huge smile on my face!!

I always tell my kids that 'Mummys soups are meant to be lumpy!!' when they moan that there are too many bits! With this nifty little gizmo, my kids will have nothing to groan at me about, and I won't be left with my self esteem in tatters after all the complaining!! :-D

Just quietly, I could also sneak this cordless wonder over to my friends house and give her dips a few extra blitzes!! I can't stand the lumps of powder that she seems to delight in leaving in her creations for us all to gag on!! ;-P

    ReplyDelete
  41. I would use it to start making fresh soups to eat, all i get at the moment is canned or takeaway soup.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I would use it to chop/pulse almost everything! from digestives for chesecake base to pumpkin soup. I dun think there's anything this braun can't do ;)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Oh my goodness, how wouldn't I use it?! Those things are so useful and I have been meaning to get one for ages.

I think the first thing I'd make is mayonnaise - I have never made it from scratch, terrible I know!

    ReplyDelete
  44. BonniesCouncil11/01/2010 5:50 pm

Cordless you say? Whack-O! It would come to bed with me (no, not in that way Robert!) and blend my Appletini's while I go on a weekend John Hamm 'Mad Men' DVD binge and feel uber cool sipping on my 2/3 - 1/3 Apple Twist Smirnoff and Sour Apple Schnapps! Yummy

    ReplyDelete
  45. A cordless Multiquick
I just hope has an off switch
for I can't control my toungue or fingers
    even though danger lingers

    ReplyDelete
  46. This convenient cordless hand blender can replace my 10-yr-old blender!!! I'll definitely be using it to create more stunning culinary masterpieces!!! Fresh homemade dips, curries, pastas, soups, hummus...the list is endless! =)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Oh I have wanted one of these for ages. I would love one to puree soups, as it's so much easier than transferring the contents into a blender, with the possibility of pureed soup all over the kitchen!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I would use it to make a heap of different types of dips i've been meaning to try out for ages! A cordless Braun would be perfect!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I'd use it for making fruit smoothies in summer and for soups in winter - and anything else I can think of!! 100% usage all year round I reckon!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I would attempt to make pumpkin soup!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I would use it to make mash potatoes! it'll be effortlessly smooth and creamy

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'd use it for too many things to list. I keep buying cheap knock-offs from K-mart and burning out the motors.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Smoothie Heaven here we come, strawberries in season and plenty of milk - nice to have something simple and healthy for a change

    ReplyDelete
  54. Soups, sauces and smoothies ! I would l make them all, effortlessly and easily if I was lucky enough to win a Braun Multiquick Cordless hand blender ♥

    ReplyDelete
  55. Perfect Preparation...sauces & marinades made and ready for summer salads, nuts crushed and fruits pulped awaiting ice-cream sundaes....aaaah less work and more play.... here I come!

    ReplyDelete
  56. guacamole, pate, chop chicken for sandwiches,
chopped onions to save my eyes,
    crushed garlic for dinner rolls,
pureed apples to sauce my pork
    chop mint to flavour my lamb;
and when all is done, my final one
whipped cream and raspberry coulis, there's desert

    ReplyDelete
  57. PESTO!
I couldn't think anything else coz I'm craving for a good pesto these days.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm a keen baker but my kitchen has limited bench space and powerpoints, so a cordless tool would be a great help. In addition to baked goods, I' also use it to make baby food and yummy smoothies with all the fruit coming into season.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I would make a smoothie. last time I tried, the blender broke, and sent smoothie all over me!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Summer is approaching the season of flings. The only thing that can make it more perfect is a Braun Multiquick Cordless to whip up naughty cocktails and even naughtier desserts. Once summer is over Winter wont seem that bad with the delicious heartwarming soups i can blend up with a push of a button. I only wish clothes could transition through seasons just as easily as the Braun Multiquick.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I'd love to use it for luscious smoothies, with frozen berries, vanilla yoghurt and milk. I also want to try making sauces, tapenades and pestos, I have a lot of ideas I want to try and not all of them are compatible with the tiny mortar and pestle I currently have!

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'd use it to make my chickpea garlic dip, it would definately beat mashing it up with a fork and having to battle with lumps. It would also be great for my soups,no more lumps.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Sounds crazy but using a handblender to make mashed potato is actually a smart idea. it whips it smooth and creamy and there are no bumps! perfect for family meals and fussy kids :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. There are countless uses for this gem every day, but the standout for me would be SMOOTH CURRY PASTES... I can never get those herbs chopped finely enough. And red chillies by hand? Just asking for disaster!...

    ReplyDelete
  65. I would use it to make my cookies & cream topping for my mocha cupcakes. Mixing whipped cream with cream cheese with electric mixer will make the cream too heavy and sticks to the beater, mixing with bare hand is really a hard work and still get a lumpy mixture. A mixer that combine both is heaven.

    ReplyDelete
  66. It's so hot in Sydney this weekend so minimal energy to make something to eat.
Cold smoothie for breakfast, mango puree and icecream for lunch and maybe an hummus dip for dinner.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I'll allow my husband to whip and chop what ever he wants, whenever he wants...that way he's not loose in the garden with the whipper-snipper!

    ReplyDelete
  68. I would use the Braun Multiquick Cordless hand blender to make Cauliflower soup.

Last time I desperately tried to make this with my blender not only did it crack, explode and the hot soup went all over the kitchen and floor. I slipped over instantly in the huge mess with none left to eat!

  70. I'd make fairy cakes with a happy blending!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Cordless, heaven, I can make my soups without dragging hot pots over benchtops, or over extending the cord to reach & although it's called a splashback, I'd prefer not splashing my soups all over it!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Great for taking outside when we are entertaining to help mix up a few cocktails, for the adult's strawberry dacquiri's and Banana Mint Slushies for the kid's.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Everything can, and will, be chopped, minced, blended and/or puréed. I will take the Braun Multiquick to the limit. If it can be eaten, it will be soup.

    ReplyDelete
  74. With a long-life Lithium-ion battery this gadget would be perfect for when we have the inevitable power blackouts that the Summer storms bring here in Qld. Instead of sweltering in the stifling humidity, I can:

    * crush ice for refreshingly cool drinks - with fresh puree'd pineapple.

    * start or finish preparing dinner by... chopping onions, creaming potato and butter, whipping up a pancake batter, or preparing the mince and herbs for some yummy meatballs (and a lovely spicy tomato salsa sauce to have with them).

When all else is done I could attach a few strips of paper and, spinning around at incredible speed, we will have a portable fan to use while we wait for Energex to restore the power!

    ReplyDelete
  75. I'd put it on the highest whirling setting and use point it at my man to make him do the dishes after I make a delicious dinner

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  80. To make cocktails and put the Fluffy in my 'Fluffy Ducks'!

    ReplyDelete
  81. I'd show my husband how to make a banana smoothie without sending it all over the kitchen - the last time he tried, he used our corded whizz, tangled the cord, let go of the container but kept whizzing and sent smoothie every where throughout the kitchen - including INSIDE the cupboards, ON TOP of the overhead cupboard...s, BEHIND the microwave and he had the whole house smelling like ripe banana for days while I kept hunting for lumps of it.

    ReplyDelete
  82. cordless!!!
that would be perfect..i have a dodgy kitchen with only 2 power plugs ..i for the fridge and the other for microwave .So each time i try and bake/blend. i go to the loungeroom for a accessible plug .Cordless would mean i can coook in the kitchen :-D

    ReplyDelete
  83. From jobs i hate (chopping garlic),
To jobs i love (blending my homemade pumpkin soap) Braun Multiquick will make it all easy!

Now..were is that soup bowl?? Garlic bread is calling me from the oven!

    ReplyDelete
  84. I love to cook and bake so many things,,, what couldnt I use it for, im more worried about my husband sneaking it to stir paint or something lol

    ReplyDelete
  85. it's the new pepper spray. Toss it in the handbag and anyone can have a quick self defence weapon that also makes a mean strawberry milkshake.

    ReplyDelete
  86. This would allow me to visit fresh / organic food markets, and blend them up right there to make baby food. Instant picnic!

    ReplyDelete
  87. I would use Braun Multiquick Cordless to make mint peas soup which is perfect for summer and more delish than Coca Cola frozen "summmahhh" advertisement which I saw just this afternoon.

Also, this blender can assist me in preparing some blended Asian fresh spices than using my own mortar & pestle.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I would use it for my baking! I'm completely without a blender, food processor, anything at all at the moment, and so many recipes tease me for the lack of it. Something tells me if I had this I'd go crazy with it!

    ReplyDelete
  89. I'd use the Braun Multiquick Cordless to make delicious summer fruit smoothies for my mum and me.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Thanks everyone for all your entries. 90 in total! This competition has now closed. The winner has been announced here.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Easy.

I'd get a holster and pack my Braun Multiquick Cordless. I'd visit all the dodgy fast food restaurant and run around to each unsuspecting diner and shred their burgers.

Oh, I'd probably make a lot of hummous, pea and ham soup and some broccoli and Stilton soup wouldn't go astray either.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I work long hours and have little time to prepare meals that are nutritionally good, I can mix, chop and mash my potato, egg, tomato, tuna within minutes. love it Isi
