ReplyDeleteCorny, but I'd say every moment if I could - me and my husband always watch together, so it's been great bonding and laughing and cheering over MasterChef! But, moment that stands out most has gotta be Matt smashing Aaron's pasta dish - good old cut-to-commercial tv drama :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVED the looks on the Masterchef contestants faces when the Crockenbouche was first brought out! Honestly, they looked terrified and i do not, for one second, blame them!
ReplyDeleteI loved watching them costruct that masterpiece, burns and all!
There are so many other Masterchef moments that I love, both in MasterChef Australi...a and Junior MasterChef.. I love it all really! Great family viewing that we can actually learn from... Much better than a heap of shows at the moment that seem to focus on teen pregnancy! :-D
Yes Chef! A phrase that has infiltrated into schools and homes across the country. You know Masterchef is taking over when it's quoted by a 3 year old.
ReplyDelete"Bring it on" by Nick on the promos and first episode of Junior Masterchef. It has started a trend around the schools for cooking challenges.
ReplyDeleteSeeing Julie's face when her boys walked in in the finale and hearing her explanation of why she cooks - I want to provide that for my boys. Great show, it's inspired me to cook and try new foods - before my husband was the designated cook :)
ReplyDeleteHow can you go past CHOP CHOP!
ReplyDeleteJust looking at this kids and remmber myself cooking at this age i mat admit they so much better...
ReplyDeleteHi Matthew - Of course you can!
ReplyDeleteI love it when the contestants finish cooking and the food are ready to be judged by the awesome 3 judges, Matt, Gary & of course George. The expression on their faces are priceless~!!!! Especially when they try some really fabulous dishes or maybe some not so fabulous ones, they will definitely have their own way of expressing them ~ Bravooo~!!! Love it♥
ReplyDeletei laugh every time Anna Gare describes the food as "silky" and "like baby food". I'm not sure if she has any more descriptive words in her....
ReplyDeleteI loved it when Matt Preston dropped Aaron's pasta on the floor and told him that it was 'disgusting... disgustingly good'.
ReplyDeleteI can't go past George's favourite...'Boom Boom Shake the Room!' Love it!
ReplyDeleteLOL when Alvin said "I dont want you on my team" to Jonathon he really spoke his mind, in fact whenever Alvin spoke he always said a funny phrase or comment that hit my funnybone
ReplyDeleteMoments in Junior MasterChef where you're reminded how talented, young and small the contestants are. Like how Sienna needs a platform to stand on so that she can actually reach the cooking bench, or when Lucy simply walks under and through Isabella's arms to get to the other side of the bench.
ReplyDeleteWhen Joanne got booted off the show...finally. I had a No-Joanne party the next day at work!
ReplyDeleteI love the blind testing moment where it was soooo nervous waiting for whichever contestant to get the wrong answer >.< just feel sorry for the one who gets it wrong !
ReplyDeleteBest moment..Cullum and Adam making it to the final cause they were both my fave
ReplyDeleteGeorge saying, "This is the Masterchef kitchen" while showing a physical movement like an oompa loompa
ReplyDeleteOh no Oh POH! :D
ReplyDeleteI love predicting when Matt Preston will say a dish has "bags of flavour" when he has nothing much else to say :D
ReplyDeletejust love to see when all of the junior master chef cooks with their passion its just really i dont know how to describe.. touching perhaps? they know what they want to achieve in that young of age its just incredible and their passion is just touching everyone...
ReplyDeleteI love the way that Gary, George and Matt are so supportive and positive towards the contestants. It really is such an entertaining show to watch because you get sucked into the drama and the rollercoster emotions every week. Bravo Masterchef!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add that Matt Preston's raised eyebrow is one of my favourite moments....
ReplyDeleteDuring the final masterclass of Season 2, where Adam and Callum turn the tables on Gary and George and gives them a mystery box. So many great phrases in that episode alone but this is my favourite:
ReplyDelete"Gary and George, have you ever cooked with......... carrots before?” - Callum
Love it!
i LOVED the moment from this years show, when Matt Preston just stunned everyone by dropping Aarons pasta dish on the floor..it was so dramatic...we were all so confused... could he be so mean and think that the dish was that horrible ?!!? They kept us in suspense for an entire ad break..AND it turns out he LOVED The d...ished so much he didn't want anyone else to try it :D!! Surprised us all, this show is so amazing and entertaining aswell as producing awesome food and cooks :D
ReplyDeleteOn Junior Masterchef, during the first few episodes, they lit up an area and this beautiful garden appeared and one of the kids said " it appeared out of nowhere"
ReplyDeleteit was a stunning sight and something that just shows how Masterchef does not drop its standards for Junior Masterchef but blows us away with stunning displa...ys of food...
which led us to be even more amazed at the food that the kids plate up!!
On the junior masterchef finale when anna gare said about isabella's first dish, "do we have to serve it? It's art on a plate"
ReplyDeleteBest moment in masterchef is making George sweat and the horrifying challenges from Andriano Zumbo !! overall every moments in masterchef and junior is AWESOME :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the intro video for Katrina Kanetani on celebrity Masterchef, its awesome! starts with Katrina saying " Hi I'm Katrina Kanetani, head pastry chef at Pier in Sydney." And the music goes on as she plates her souffle and her chocolate and tangelo..
ReplyDeleteI loved the show and all the children, especially the twins .My favourite phrase for Junior Masterchef was "Fate is on the Plate". And the most touching moment was when Sofia said that the best thing that happened to her on the show was seeing her sister get into the final. That was beautiful. Congratulations to all!!
ReplyDeleteBest moment in masterchef is making George sweat and the horrifying challenges from Andriano Zumbo !! overall every moments in masterchef and watching junior masterchefs cook is a JOY !
ReplyDeleteBest moment from the last season MC was the snoweggs moment ~! it was just spectacular to see such a beautiful dessert and knowing that Peter Gilmore had put so much effort and heart into making this beautiful dessert. It is just heaven ....
ReplyDeleteGeorge and Gary are funny, but Matt cracks me up almost every time he opens his mouth, but the moment that stands out for me was when he told Aaron that’s disgusting before throwing the plate on the floor and then justifying it by continuing with that is disgustingly good and now know one else can get the recipe!
ReplyDeletebit over the top but memorable!
I do not remember many details, but the kids' reactions — their excitement about cooking and their personalities — that carried the show and made it really sweet. That was what I liked!
ReplyDeleteAdam's top knot kept me facinated the whole time
ReplyDeleteLove it when Gary & George swapping places with Adam & Callum. It is the episode that turn every critics to think that Masterchef is after all is a fun & competitive event with empasize on the judges are the best judges with compassionate soul, know well who are their students & their quirky moments & have sense of great humours. Love... on how Adam was able to pull out the "jumping George" style & George asking with that strange face why Adam jumping like that, as like George didn't realise he did that in previous episodes.
ReplyDeleteAlso love on how George encouraged Callum to stand up & brave himself which I think should be more on show. This is important for some entrants who think Masterchef is all that matter, should not be thinking like that.
I love on how Marion cooking for Alvin who was sick. Love on how they were helping each others. Masterchef is after all is a competitive game event. The winner are who can get the best from it & put the experience from it into their life for others too
Thank you everyone for your entries. This competition has now closed. The winners have been announced here.
