  3. I would choose the Audrey & Marco Antipasto Hamper. It has been amazing weather, I am sure the Audrey and Marco antipasto hamper would include a gorgeous range of delicious items to take on a summer picnic. I would just have to grab a ciabatta, bottle of champagne and a blanket and off I would go.

  5. I would have to choose the "Balsamic Solera 100 years, Antica Balsameria Emiliana - I have always wanted a bottle of really good Balsamic Vinegar to use for my salad dressings and in cooking...   10. Wow.. So many goodies and delicacies.. My pick would be the “Goose Rillets, Le Truffe Cendree , 65g". I remember my parents bought a can of Goose Rillets for me on their first overseas trip to Paris. I was very young that time, probably around 10. Not appreciating the special taste, I started crying and was very upset that I did not get anything more “fun”. But now I really wish I can have a second taste of this with yummy crispy bread.

  11. Panettone Basso Pasticceria! Panettone is great for desserts after Christmas - a decadent kilo would go a long way.. also sweetly toasted for breakfasts in bed on summer days..

  14. I'd get me some goose fat, for ages I've been wanting to try roasting potatoes in goose fat with garlic and rosemary but as yet have never gotten around to sourcing goose fat

  15. I'd get the Matis chocolate halva - My Grandparents would always buy me some when we went to market when I was little, and it was great fun eating big slices of it...I think chocolate would put an interesting spin on it!
    Also, half a kilo of delicious creamy chocolate flavoured substance is a winner in my book.

  16. I'd add the Oliviero almond nougat wedge, so that I could take a big bite just before dessert on Christmas day, get my teeth all stuck together, and be physically unable to eat any Christmas Pudding (translation: delicious nougat beats citrus peel devil spawn forever).

    Australian defence force servicepeople serving overseas. I would have loved the, "Mini Voglie Assorted Biscuits, Vicenzi, 600g," in each of those hampers.

  23. As soon as jamon arrives in-store, I'd be grabbing that! I had it for the first and only time at the Summit Restaurant in Sydney, in a wonderful dish with pear, and I was immediately smitten with the flavour :) I have so many ideas for what to do with it, I'm excited already and all I'm doing is entering for a possible chance to maybe get some jamon sometime in the future!

    In terms of what's available now, I'd love some goose fat, white truffle oil and duck rillettes. Nom.

  39. I just don't think I could go past adding one (or three)! of Audrey and Marco's Madagascan Organic Vanilla Beans! There is nothing better than using real vanilla bean (extract has its place... but I'm all for keeping it real when I can)! I can just taste the vanilla now in my sponge cakes and custards! Mmmm!

    The Savoiardi Biscottificio or Italian Sponge Finger Biscuits for short (OK...not quite short) but just saying the name makes me feel so much more interesting. These sponge fingers would make good companions with my vanilla & chocolate custard trifle...oh yummy. Uh Oh! Looks like my New Year's Resolution can start tomorrow (dastardly thing)...I'm off to forage in the pantry!

  52. Oliviero Almond Nougat Wedge - I can't wait to get my hands on that baby and sink my teeth into the delightful stickiness. I'll be sucking and picking lumps of nougat from my teeth for hours thereafter - and probably even still when I need to phone the dentist for a post-nougat repair!

    Recently she told me, in all seriousness, that she's over her "Goth stage" but, despite her new-found maturity, I think she'd still appreciate some delicious black fettucine :0)

  63. To my sheer delight I have now found somewhere I can buy Duck Confit. After a visit to France and sampling the mouth watering duck I have been pining for it ever since. I have searched the width and bredth of Australia and it cannot be bought here. We even bought fresh duck and duck fat and tried cooking it ourselves which was a complete and utter disaster. Thank you Audrey & Marco - im just about to place my first order now. Cheers.
