Sydney Royal Easter Show 2007: The Animals

cattle

It's Easter and that means it's time for the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

I never went to the Show that often as a kid (once with the folks, and once with primary school as I recall) but there is something irresistibly nostalgic about the place, even if it doesn't come cheaply.

More often than not, it's a chance for city slickers to appreciate Australia's proud agricultural heritage, even if they do wrinkle their noses at the smell as they step gingerly over the flattened cow pats.

So first up, it was the animals. Who knew bacon could look so cute?

Next up: the food, including the delicious scones from the CWA tea room.
