Ooo, those nuts I would take and gobble up before anyone else could get their peepers or mits on them. I would snaff them all alone and especially away from the greedy eyes of my fido as they make him drool big time but if they do happen to pass his dangly, flubber lips he becomes paralytic. Literally, no joke, and it's petrifying. So, yummy macadamias only for moi I'm afraid. Oh dear.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try a little experiment with the macadamia nuts... baked macadamia-encrusted tofu! I really want to start trying more interesting ways of cooking tofu, and I'd love to see if I could get a crunchy nutty coating to work. I think topping it with the mango chutney could be a winning combo. :)
ReplyDeleteI would chargrill a whole red capsicum stuffed with pork mince, brie cheese, spring onion and marjoram. Lay it on a plate and pipe a leaf shape out of the green tomato spread. Then serve it with hot bruschetta.
ReplyDeleteGreat prize!
ReplyDeleteI'd turn the macadamias into raw vegan "cheeze". You know you love it. ;)
ReplyDeleteHmmm....I would use the mango, chilli and corriander dressing and mix it into a paste with the macadamia nuts to create a crust for a pork roast.
ReplyDeleteYummmmm!
And the "BIO GRAPE Cheese Lovers Pack (Organic) with Grade Seed Crackers and Fig & Grape Paste" I would just gobble it all up while the roast was cooking!
I've have the boysenberry coulis on ice cream. It's never too cold for ice cream!
ReplyDeleteI'd eat the entire packet of Beatties Xlent Biscuits Berry Shortbread in one fowl swoop, snuggled up on the lounge with a cup of tea infront of the heater. Being sure to dispose of the evidence (ie. crumbs and empty packet) from suspecting housemates.
ReplyDeleteI'd eat the cheese lover pack in a cold night with looot of red wine while watching Masterchef!
ReplyDeleteI will throw a planet-alignment-watching-early-morning-tea-party. With a nice hot chocolate to go with the shortbread cookies. A lovely plum jam and boysenberry coulis ricotta hotcake with a marcapone cheese. And last but not least the cheese platter for those who wants something savory.
ReplyDeleteMmmm, home made, double fried chips dipped in green tomato spread would make a deliciously deconstructed fried green tomato!
ReplyDeleteI would marinate chicken thigh chunks in the green tomoto paste, cover with rice flour - deep fry and serve with homemade aoli
ReplyDeleteHome made scones, fresh out of the oven, topped with a big dollop of whipped cream and Lynwood Angelo's Plum Jam, served with a piping hot pot of earl grey tea. Heaven!!
ReplyDeleteits cold so why not snuggle up with a man pillow and some mango chutney and toasties? dont forget the electric blanket!
ReplyDeleteIf I win, I intend to eat all the berry shortbread biscuits in a 10 minute period. Then possibly feel sick for the rest of the day. But it would totally be worth it....
ReplyDeletehi
ReplyDeleteif i win i would use the plum jam and experiment to make a mint and plum sauce to have with some gilled pork chops and homemade honey baked sweet potato chips with a chilli yoghurt dip
mmmm yum :P
xx michelle
I would make my fig and macadamia dessert with the macadamia nuts... yum!
ReplyDeleteI would open up the hamper, unload them on my table, take photo each of the item, share it on my facebook page, brag about me finally winning something online, call my other fellow food lover friends, more bragging, then..
ReplyDeleteI shall make the hardest decision.. which product to be honoured for tasting first..
.. priceless..
oh Helen, I think that Wednesday is the 8th of June. :)
ReplyDeleteA bib, a bottle of Simply Stirred Mango, Chilli & Coriander Dressing and a bucket of prawns sitting on the beach and a cold beer within reach.
ReplyDeleteI would waste no time to unpack the hamper, pack the Cheese Lovers Pack, go to post office and send it to my mother in law in Germany, with a small note: We do have cheese, we do have great cheese! We do have Bio, we do have great Bio!
ReplyDeleteThen walk out with a triumphant smile. : )
Oh that would be awesome to win. I would definitely love the cheese lovers pack and take it with me on my holiday to Byron bay sitting on the balcony drinking champagne.
ReplyDeleteI'd bake a lovely tray of fresh scones to serve with the plum jam and some whipped cream! (And while I'm waiting for the scones to bake, I could pig out on some shortbread!)
ReplyDeleteI would render out some bacon fat and add some orange zest. Toss the macadamia nuts in the lovely goodness and roast the nuts in the oven until just golden brown.
ReplyDeletewhite chocolate, coconut and macadamia tart...mmmm.....
ReplyDeleteMy scone's are as famous with my friends as Flo's so I serve them in style with Lynwood Angelo's Plum Jam and wicked dollops of cream fit for a queen.
ReplyDeleteI would add the famous Crunch Preserves Tomato Relish to a fancy cheese board with good cheddar and some gourmet crackers. Scumptious.

ReplyDeleteI would take my kids on a fine dining picnic adventure,to devour silverside and Australian Harvest Organic Mango Chutney sandwiches, washed down with non alcoholic wine, finished off with scones and Lynwood Angelo's Plum Jam and cream! teaching them about the finer things in life!
ReplyDeleteHi - I'd like to try the Mango, Chilli & Coriander Dressing drizzled over my hot potato salad dish mixed with some cooking philly cream cheese - I think it would be really nice - I know that my boys would be in the kitchen ready to try it! :o)
ReplyDeleteA juicy steak sandwich with Crunch Preserves Tomato Relish served with hot, crispy chips – a perfect lunch on a lazy Sunday!
ReplyDeletemelissa
