Taste for Change 2007

Eating for charity. Who doesn't like the sounds of that?

Oxfam is holding its annual Taste for Change dinner in support of Oxfam International Youth Partnerships (OIYP) this month. Funds raised will enable youth leaders aged 18-25 to better work with their communities "to create positive, equitable and sustainable change".

A six-course dinner will be prepared by Sydney chefs, each of whom have donated time, ingredients and expertise in the name of charity. There'll be entertainment, matching wines, cocktails and last year we each received goodie bags filled with samples to take home as well.

Taste for Change 2006 was attended by 450 people and raised $70,000. And all the chefs came out on stage afterwards for much hearty applause too.

This year's menu includes:

We read this and had a look at the site; and as it's for Oxfam, we took the plunge and bought tickets! You don't mention if you're going?

Hi Jax - Excellent. The food sounds fantastic. Unfortunately I'm out of town that week so I'm unable to attend, however I am sure you will both have a wonderful (and delicious) evening.
