My 23rd post was Welcome to Tokyo, as I babbled giddily about my first impressions of Nihon.
The fifth sentence (excluding my meandering photo captions) was:
"In 30 seconds a bowl of noodles is handed to you with a smudge of wasabi on the side."I was relating my first ever lunch in Japan--a simple bowl of noodles in a commuter noodle house at the train station (where you order via a vending machine and stand up as your slurp your noodles!).
I miss Japan. I would go back in an instant!

Hi AG,
I just read your Welcome to Tokyo post. Great pictures! (But I have to tell you those mutsutake mushrooms in the pic. are not the most expensive ones... expensive ones cost like 5,000 to 6,000 yen each...Crazy.)
