Sculpture by the Sea

fish in net

Sculpture by the Sea is Australia's biggest outdoor exhibition of modern sculpture. Exhibits from around the world are installed along the dramatic clifftop walk from Bondi to Tamarama beaches.

The paths tend to get congested by families, kids, tourists and shutterbugs on the weekend, but at the same time it's pretty cool that this event a) exists and b) is so popular. Modern art seems to be less intimidating for the public and the stunning backdrop of blue skies, pounding surf and golden beaches make this an irresistable day out.

I could've spent so many more hours here...

Sculpture by the Sea runs until 20th November 2005.

    Hi AG,

I was trying to make it out to Sydney this year, but unfortunately I can't get the time off. =( I don't think that I'll be able to get there next year either becuase of my trip to Singapore and Shanghai in September 2006. *sigh*
