2004 Food Blog Awards: winners

All the winners for the 2004 Food Blog Awards have now been announced. Alas, Grab Your Fork missed out on winning in its nominated category of Best Food Blog - City. Congratulations go to Seattle Bon Vivant--a worthy winner indeed, who is incidentally hosting the 4th Sugar High Friday: Let's Go Nuts.

Chocolate and Zucchini scooped four of the 16 sixteen awards, including Best Recipes, Best Writing, Best Site Design and Best Overall Food Blog. Congratulations Clothilde on one of the most comprehensive foodie blogs out there!

Looking ahead--nominations for the 2005 Bloggies have now opened. Even better, a new category for Best Food Weblog has now been included, distinctly missing from the 2004 Bloggies and necessitating the 2004 Food Blog Awards organised by the Accidental Hedonist.

Nominations for the 2005 Bloggies close 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5) on Monday, January 10, 2005.

Finalists will be announced Thursday, January 20 and the voting public will choose the winners.

Winners will be announced in mid-March.
