Call for Entries: Does My Blog Look Good in This

Grab Your Fork is proud to be this month's host for Does My Blog Look Good in This.

What is it about? Perhaps it's best to quote its original initiator Ronald who says:

The idea behind the event/contest is to give everyone a chance to enjoy some of the best pictures of the month posted on food blogs. There are so many food blogs now and stories are constantly posted that it's very easy to miss some great posts and pictures. This event takes us back through the food photos.

Here's what to do:

1. Send an email to Grab Your Fork with the subject heading DMBLGIT.

2. Attach your favourite food or drink photo from the month of June. This photo must have been taken by you, and been posted on your blog during the month of June.

3. Tell me about your photo: a) what is it? b) what camera did you use? c) what is the post url?

4. Tell me about you: a) your name b) your blog's name c) your blog url

Photo submissions will be uploaded to this site on an ongoing basis commencing 7 July 2006 until deadline.

Deadline
The deadline for submissions is 24 July 2006. Please remember there is only one entry per person.

Judging
A friendly panel of judges will score each photo on originality, eatability and aesthetics. Winners should be announced by 1 August 2006.

Final pep talk
All bloggers are encouraged to submit a photo, particularly those who are new to foodblogging. This is more than a competition about who has the smaller f-stop; it's about providing a showcase for the diversity and depth of our burgeoning and supportive foodblogging community.

Entries are being accepted now until 24 July 2006. And don't forget to check out the latest June DMBLGiT winners just announced by last month's host Nic at bakingsheet.
