Does My Blog Look Good in This: 2006 #7 July

Does My Blog Look in This invites foodbloggers from around the globe to submit a favourite photo posted on their blog in the previous month. For more information about this event please click here. UPDATE 24 JULY 06: Please note that entries have now closed. UPDATE 1 AUG 06: Check out the winners here

Photos will be uploaded on an ongoing basis until the competition deadline: Monday 24 July 2006. A panel of talented and friendly foodbloggers will then review all entries on the basis of aesthetics, eatability and originality.

Please take the time to click each photo for a bigger version, and follow the links for more information. I firmly believe that this event is not just about light meters, f-stops and technical expertise, but a visual snapshot of our foodblogging community and a delicious way to discover your new favourite website.

Pout. Some people on Slashfood saw a copy of my strawberry pie photo entry and commented that it looks terrible. I adjusted the color on my blog, but looking at it here, I still think its purdy. All the entries look purdy!
    Thanks for hosting!

Hi Ilva - I definitely have a lot more respect for event hosters. It is quite a task. However I agree with you that there are a lot of fantastic entries. And I'm loving discovering new blogs too.

Hi Rachael - I would take those comments with a grain of salt. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I think your photo looks great.

I think all the entrants should be proud of their efforts. All foodbloggers do it for the love of food, and for the joy of sharing it with others. I am grateful that all foodbloggers are so generous with their time, so that we may all benefit from a broad spectrum of ideas, perspectives and opinions.
