Dinner by candelight: Chocolate fondue for Earth Hour

three candles

Sydneysiders were encouraged to switch off all lights for one hour for Earth Hour last night, a symbolic commitment to the reduction of greenhouse emissions.

Whilst lights in the CBD were extinguished on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, Luna Park and many of the city's skyscrapers, we relished the opportunity to dine by candlelight with a small party around a simmering pot of chocolate fondue.

Sweet treats (which didn't end up dipped, but did get partially eaten)

Hi Chocolatesuze - Yep the candles on the stairs were just begging to be photographed. No more cheese fondue plans for the moment :)

Hi Nora - The Lindt chocolate was yum (of course!).

Hi Lindsey - We had one Englishman who had insisted on the French Fancies. They are very sweet! But cute!

Hi Lyn - Ice cream fondue? My... the mind boggles!

Hi Nora - The Lindt chocolate was from the Essential Ingredient in Crows Nest. Enjoy your fondue party! :)
