Primo Italiano 2007
Now a regular fixture on the Sydney Italian Festival calendar, this outdoor event on Stanley and Yurong Streets never fails to bring in the crowds. Too many perhaps, with a coffee queue that rarely hovered below twenty and a scrum surrounding every food stall.
San Pellegrino on ice
Formaggi Ocello were there and behind me all I could hear were excited cries of "oh my god that's good cheese". They've obviously never visited the Good Living Growers' Market or they'd see their regular stall.
Brisk business at Formaggi Ocello
Gorgonzola
Primo Italiano fountain filled with vegetables
The vegetable fountain was installed as always. "What's the deal with the vegetables?" I kept hearing people ask, whilst others posed with delight in front of it for happy snaps.
Roses
Funghetti assortiti chocolates by Caffarel
Sweets by Caffarel
Parmesan cheese from Formaggi Ocello
Gingerbread men
Lots of people, lots of happy faces. Especially the ones of the gingerbread men.

Hi Helen, I missed this festival, but I did finally make it to the Grower's Market (first time this year). Is it my imagination, or are there more stalls now than last year?

Hi Nupur - lol. That'd be quite a sight!
Hi Nora - I have a confession. I haven't made it to any GLGM this year! Hopefully next month :)

Hi Hornbag [rofl. love the moniker. it's noice. unusual.] - There's always plenty of festivals on in Sydney. This one is always a crowd pleaser but super crowded as result. Hope you make it next year :)
